Dr. Hannes Tschofenig is a distinguished engineer with Arm Limited. He received his Diploma degree in Computer Science from the University of Klagenfurt (2001) and PhD degree in Computer Science from the University of Göttingen (2019).

His research focuses on developing global standards to make the Internet more secure. He co-chaired several Internet Engineering Task Force (IETF) groups and was a member of the Internet Architecture Board, a committee of the IETF.  Since 2004 he has published 85+ RFCs (Internet standardization specifications), making him one of the 5 most productive RFC authors. He is a board member of OMA SpecWorks.
