Yachao successfully defended his dissertation "Imbalance Learning and Its Application on Medical Datasets" on 24th March 2021, under the expertise on Prof. Xiaoming Fu and Prof. Ulrich Sax; further disputation committee members were Prof. Marcus Baum, Prof. Tim Friede, Prof. Dieter Hogrefe, and Prof. Dagmar Krefting. His thesis committee consisted of Prof. Xiaoming Fu, Prof. Marcus Baum and Prof. Jar-Der Luo.
